another first for the tube shop! Although we do not cut down full
length stock we are the only tubing distributor that offers you
such a vast choice of remnants that you see below. Our remnants
are mostly made up of odd lengths of tubing that is left over
from large custom jobs. Instead of letting these tubes sit on
the shelf or worse yet, throwing them away because it does not
conform to our normal sizes we offer this tubing to you at a discount.
Our customers come from a diverse pool of companies and individuals
and it would be a shame to waste class A tubing. Get them while
they last!

High Modulus - Sanded Smooth (27-28 msi) axial laminate Only available at CFTS high modulus tubing is almost twice as stiff as standard modulus tubing. The strength of this tubing is reduced. The sizes listed below slide into each other. Get it while it lasts!
True "B" Stock Tubes This section is devoted to tubes that may have cosmetic blemishes in the surface of the tube. Click on the images below to view the possible defects. All tubes are sold as is, and may contain "one or more" of the following defects: Surface creases A B Resin Pooling Deep Scratch Top layer fiber delamination Foreign debris in surface Fiber distortions Over-sanded surface Under-sanded surface We are offering these tubes at an extreme discount because they failed inspection as a class "A" tube. We understand for some applications these slight defects might not be an issue. Please ask if you have any questions on these tubes
NEED A SAMPLE? We listened to what our customers wanted and this is our response. In our sample pack you will get four sections of carbon tubing between sized from .500" ID and 1.00" ID and at least three inches long. Each section has a different outlook so that you can make an informed decision with regard to the visual appearance of our tubes before buying a full length tube. The 4 outlooks are uni-cello, uni-sanded, fabric cello, and fabric sanded. No guarantees are made with regard to sizing other than each tube will be sized within a range of .500" ID and 1.00" ID. If you email us before you order we may be able to make sizing substitutions depending on our current stock of remnants. We do not cut down full length tubes to provide samples but we make every effort to accommodate our customers. Please note we DO NOT offer free samples of our tubing due to the high cost of the materials involved and the number of requests we receive for samples. When it comes to most projects $18 ($28 for international orders) is a small price to pay to make the right decision. |
